Projection screens are used in movies, offices, home theaters, large conferences and other occasions, and are used to display images and video files. There are many specifications and sizes.
Different space projection screens have different choices. For example, a wide viewing angle and low gain screen should be selected for occasions with a large number of people or horizontal viewing. For narrow and long space viewing, choose a narrow viewing angle and high gain screen, and choose a screen with appropriate gain. The screen helps to improve the contrast of the screen, increase the image grayscale, vivid colors, and increase the visibility of the image.
Width and height
The aspect ratio of the projection screen directly affects the quality of the picture. Only when the aspect ratio of the projection screen matches the natural resolution of the projector and the resolution (resolution) of the signal source will the display screen be more exciting. The aspect ratios of projection screens are mainly as follows:
1.33:1 (4:3), mainly for video/PC images, diagonal x 0.8; width;
1.78:1 (16:9), mainly high-definition television images (HDTV);
1.85:1, mainly for wide-screen TV signal images;
2.35:1, mainly used in wide-screen stereo image display.
At present, 4:3 and 16:9 video screens are the most commonly used, and users can choose which screen ratio to use according to the display ratio of their machine.
